Summer is here and the sailing season is well underway bringing us a variety of different problems for sorting out - broken masts, cracked spreaders, broken goosenecks, bent booms, replacement rigging are only a few which come to mind.

As well as the above, Sailspar continue to be busy with a wide range of projects going out the door. We are very pleased to welcome Jake to our team. The Scott Boomlock jibe preventer is a very popular safety device and well worth considering if you have had any near misses or accidents with your boom! It comes in 2 sizes - Boomlock 1 for yachts with mainsail sail area of up to 23 sq.m and Boomlock 2 for mainsails of up to 55 sq.m. Sorry, but it is not suitable for multihulls. The Sailspar continuous line headsail system is still an extremely popular headsail system and you only need to talk to someone who has one to find out why. Trouble free, it lasts for years. We continue with our fabrication work on wind farm workboats with several large projects in the very near future.
