brightlingsea

Sailspar was first formed in 1968 by Doug Beech MC and Reg White OBE in Brightlingsea, which is on the East Coast. It did not take long before business started to gather pace and Ted Wood (later to start SeaTech) joined the team and they started to supply not only yacht masts but to develop new parts for the catamaran market.

view of sailspar In December 2007 Sailspar moved from Brightlingsea to the location at Great Bromley. This was a beneficial change for the company. Sailspar's incredibly able team use their over 40 years of experience in the marine sector to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
