MOUNTINGS
Scott Boomlocks are supplied complete with Type A mountings for booms with an underside track or alternatively Type B mountings for booms with an inadequate track or none at all.
There is a range of TYPE A mountings to suit different sizes of boom track, so we shall need to know the make and size of boom on your yacht, or the class of yacht and year of build.
Type A mountings can be fitted anywhere in the boom track, without disturbing other fittings or end caps. Type B mountings are pop-riveted to the boom.
DECK HARDWARE KITS
These include the items needed to run the control line forward to the mast and then back to the cockpit, also a cam-cleat and fixings for the cockpit end of the control line. The 'pro' kit differs from the 'standard' in having larger (ball-bearing) blocks and a higher specification cam-cleat. It is recommended for use with Boomlock Two but can also be used with Boomlock One.
